And yet, that’s when Susan S. Elliot founded Systems Services Enterprises (SSE Network Services), way back in 1966. While working at IBM as a programmer she had the foresight to see just how ingrained computers would become in everyday life. So she started her own company to cater to that approaching trend, working at first from home in a humble basement setup with her computer on a piece of plywood.
In the early 80’s, Elliot began focusing on the PC platform, teaching individuals how to use them. Corporations soon took note of how computers could boost productivity and improve their bottom line, and they turned to SSE Network Services to train their employees and implement what was then exciting new technology in their offices.
